To be accepted into Friends Without Faces you must agree with these rules and abide by them while you are with us!

Nobody likes rules but I've found it is the best way forward so that everyone knows what to expect while they are with the community!

1. The Friends Without Faces community is a diverse group and welcomes all men and women to apply. The only restriction is that members must be at least 18 years of age... the law says we can't collect information from people below that age so we are abiding by the law, not being ageist

2. We welcome members with and without websites. Websites submitted for membership must be personal websites. Commercial sites and strictly blogging sites will not be considered.

3. All sites submitted must be family friendly websites. Sites containing profanity or pornography will NOT be permitted, nor will sites displaying racism, hatred, violence, or sites promoting illegal activity. There will be no association with any sites that may be offensive to the general public or a threat to members.

4. We do not have specific regulations pertaining to the content of submitted sites, but do require more than a list of links and ads or a commercial site. We also ask that websites include some personal information about yourself, or an “About Me” page so that other members can learn a little bit about you. While we stress diversity here at Friends Without Faces, we ask that applicants who have a foreign language website have an English version of your site or an English translator available so that everyone in the community can visit and enjoy your website! We do reserve the right to deny an application that we feel does not comply with our creed, and our rules, or contain appropriate content.

5. All webring members *must* display their membership logo on their personal website and it must be linked back to the community. The membership logo and webring fragment must be displayed in it's original size. All website members *must* also join the main Friends Without Faces webring which unites our members in a circle of friendship.

6. Respect other members of Friends Without Faces. You must treat every member as you wish to be treated, in a fair and caring manner. Any member that abuses another member in any way will immediately be removed from the group.

7. As a member of Friends Without Faces, you agree to join the main Friends Without Faces mailing list which is used to make important announcements about the community. Other mailing lists are considered optional.  If you join a committee you will be added to the mailing list for that committee and you are expected to be active in the committee you have chosen.

8. If you break any of the Friends Without Faces rules, you will be dealt with by the Head of the comittee you are with, if it can't be solved that way then the Overseer of the committee will become involved and if it can't be resolved then the issue will be taken up with Mandy. We will always try to treat members fairly and equally, but will not tolerate misconduct.

9. Members are not permitted to use the Friends Without Faces webring to recruit members for other groups. Promoting other groups through our mailing lists is also restricted. Failure to comply will result in termination of your membership. You may not collect our members e-mail addresses for your own personal mailing list without their consent.
